Double Trouble

The two Maxes and I recently took a lovely walk up at The Gogs.

Much fun was had by all.

There was stick chewing......

......Chasing.......

.......More chasing!......

..........A bit of running about like a loon.......l

.......And quiet reflection up on the big hill.

We took time to look down onto our historic city. What a lovely walk.

A Walk In The Park

Believe it or not but these were taken in the middle of December!

The sun came out to play.....

.....And so did we!!!

Paddi's Adventures

We went to stay with Paddi a few weeks ago and had lots of adventures.

 Above is when we went swimming by accident!

These are from a walk to Foxton with Max.

 Max and Paddi have great fun chasing about together.

But it does wear out their legs a bit!

The Gang's All Here!

 

Max, Augustus, Pippa , Red and I took a lovely walk recently in what we thought was the last 

of the Indian Summer sunshine.

Augustus has come for a holiday at our house, he is a Bassett Hound.

He gets on well with all the other dogs. And loves to have a good sniff about.

Red and Pippa love a game of chase.

Red is always looking for an excuse to run about.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Travelling In Style

Max loves to ride in the boot of the car with the windows down. 

He thinks the breeze blowing through his fur is just heaven!

Love At First Sight

This is when Max met Mimi at The Old Drift in Fulbourn last week.

Max wasn't anxious at all as can be the case sometimes. 

He obviously recognised one of his own kind!

Byron's Pool

Today, Tina, Turner, Max and I went for a walk at Byron's Pool.

It is absolutely stunning in the fine weather.

There is a path which takes you on a circular path for about 30 minutes.

Tina enjoyed the sunshine very much!

Max would run to the edge of the water but wouldn't go swimming!

We had a proper English stroll as people were fishing and canoeing on the river.

What a lovely day!

Here we have a recent picture of Max and Dexter, trying to ignore each other. Moments later they were running about together like long lost pals!

Puddles

 The recent showers of rain, of course brought us lots and lots of fun puddles. Here a some pics of our wet and wild adventures.

Fisrt Pack Walk

Here's a quick video of our first pack walk from a few weeks ago, starring Red, Tina, Max and Pippa.

Max and Rio

Yesterday, Max and Rio had their first introduction.

 Rio is the more dominant dog and Max recognised this at once. 

Usually when out with the girls Max will try to be the boss, which can lead to scuffles, but with Rio he was relaxed and calm. I think he knew he was not going to get away with anything with Rio!!

It was nice to see them both playing together happily.

Max's experience will help him to be more confident with the girls now he has realised what fun it is just to enjoy the games without trying to be top dog.

Pack Walk

For the first time the other day, I took 4 dogs on a pack walk. This was 3 dogs, all with big personalities and puppy Red, who is just going with the flow at the moment.

Lots of fun was had by all.

Lots of chasing and sniffing and exploring.

We shall try our pack walk again this week. Let's hope it goes as well!!
