Life's A Beech

We took a lovely stroll through The Beechwoods, near Fulbourn.

It is still unseasonably warm for November.

Can it really be nearly Christmas?

Pippa doesn't think so!

And neither does Red!!

Girl Power

Red and Sheebah are best friends.

Soon Sheebah will be looking as slim as Red with all this running about!

Go girls!

Doggy Dancing

Gus, Dolly and Red enjoy very much a spot of dancing.

It's important to keep hydrated before a lot of exercise.

And away we go!

Jasper

Who is this handsome fellow?

Paddi's Adventures

We went to stay with Paddi a few weeks ago and had lots of adventures.
Above is when we went swimming by accident!

These are from a walk to Foxton with Max.
Max and Paddi have great fun chasing about together.

But it does wear out their legs a bit!

The Gang's All Here!

Max, Augustus, Pippa , Red and I took a lovely walk recently in what we thought was the last
of the Indian Summer sunshine.

Augustus has come for a holiday at our house, he is a Bassett Hound.
He gets on well with all the other dogs. And loves to have a good sniff about.

Red and Pippa love a game of chase.

Red is always looking for an excuse to run about.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

What a jolly morning we all had!

Walk in the Dark Update

Our Dog Walk In the Dark went really well. We had about 16 walkers and 10 dogs and raised nearly £100 for Medical Detection Dogs. A charity which helps train dogs to assist people who have diabetes and Addison's Disease etc. They also train dogs to detect cancer in humans. It's fascinating and a really worthwhile charity and you can still donate here.

New Pals

Bramble , Sheebah and I took a stroll down Donkey Lane in Hauxton.

Bramble and Sheebah really enjoy each others company.
It's so nice to make new friends.

Travelling In Style

Max loves to ride in the boot of the car with the windows down.
He thinks the breeze blowing through his fur is just heaven!

I Need An Ice Dolly

The unexpected hot October weather came as a wonderful surprise for everyone.
Here is Dolly resting under a cool shady bush after our walk.

Max Power

The two Maxes take a well earned rest after some tennis ball throwing.
Hard work for those little legs!

Welcome Sheebah

Welcome to Sheebah. She is a very sweet 2 year old Golden Labrador.
She  is a bit overweight at the moment,
so she is on a special diet and exercise program.
She will be back to perfect health in no time!

Dog Walk in The Dark

HI!
I am organising a Walk in The Dark to help raise money for http://www.justgiving.com/cancerdogs.
It will take place on Saturday 15th October 2011. Anyone is welcome to bring their well behaved dog along and join us for a walk starting from the car park in Great Shelford Recreation Ground at 7.30pm. We will walk from there toward Tunwell's Lane and up to Lloyds Bank and then head down the High Street to Little Shelford. Once over the bridges we will continue past the Church and carry on around "The Triangle" and then back to our starting point.
This is not a long walk and will keep to the footpaths so young children and buggies are well accommodated. Please make sure you, your children and your dog are wearing something bright which can be well seen in the dark and that dogs are on a lead at all times.
For full details of other walks going on in our area and around the UK please take a look at the link below.
We will also be collecting on the evening so please don't feel you have to donate right away, but it would be lovely if you could! Hope to see you there!

Welcome Jingo

Here Is Jingo. He is 5 months old and a Working Cocker Spaniel.

He loves to play with the other dogs, especially Turner and Max.

There were taken on a recent trip to The Old Drift in Fulbourn.

Welcome Max

Here is Max.
He is new to our pack and is a Parson Russell Terrier.

He is OBSESSED with tennis balls. More than any other dog I've ever encountered, even Archie!
There's never a dull moment with Max on the walk.

Here he is with gal pal Red on a recent trip to the Magog Downs.

Growing Up

Dolly has suddenly become huge!!

She adores Red.
Here she is giving her some love.

Solly

This is Solly.
Don't let the photo fool you, he is one of the biggest Labradors I've ever seen!

Here he is with Red playing together in our garden.

Time Flies When You're a Poodle

Ava is growing up fast!
She is filling out and taking on more of the classic poodle shape now.
We are having some lovely walks as she is already training well on the lead.
Poodles are highly intelligent and learn very quickly.

Here she is on her first walk with Pippa, who she adored!
So many new friends to make!!

Love At First Sight

This is when Max met Mimi at The Old Drift in Fulbourn last week.
Max wasn't anxious at all as can be the case sometimes.
He obviously recognised one of his own kind!

Khan

This is Shere Khan.
He sounds like a tiger but....

...He is the most sweet and fluffy cat in the world.
What a handsome chap.

Byron's Pool

Today, Tina, Turner, Max and I went for a walk at Byron's Pool.

It is absolutely stunning in the fine weather.

There is a path which takes you on a circular path for about 30 minutes.

Tina enjoyed the sunshine very much!

Max would run to the edge of the water but wouldn't go swimming!

We had a proper English stroll as people were fishing and canoeing on the river.

What a lovely day!
